IGN: Necro Zhoul

1. What is your total time played in GW. How old is your account? And which campaigns do you own?

My account is 21 months old. Across all characters, I have played for 1,431 hours. I own all campaigns.


2. What characters do you have and which campaigns did they complete?

Necro Zhoul: Completed all. - Main Char
Sin Zhoul: Completed Factions, almost completed Nightfall. (Mainly used for UW related stuff, will soon reach DoA)
Ranger Zhoul: Almost completed Prophecies.
Monk Zhoul, Warrior Zhoul, Para Zhoul: Have completed none. (The Monk has some decent unlocks though. He's one of my farming characters. Used for UW, CoF and some other stuff.)

The other 2 are PvP characters.


3. What pve skills does you main toons have and what rank?

My Necro has the great majority of the PvE skills and his ranks are:

R10: Ebon Vanguard (Secret Agent)
R10: Norn (Slayer of All)
R7: Asuran (Not too Silly)
R6: Drarven (Daring Delver)

My assassin has some of the most important PvE skills (like I Am Unstoppable, By Urahl's Hammer or EBSOH), though his ranks are all at 2.


4. How many titles do you currently have and which one makes you the most proud? Also, what titles are you working on?

I currently have 11 maxed titles on my main char, the one I'm the most proud of being the Legendary Guardian one. I'm working on many other titles such as skill hunter, vanquisher, cartographer and rep titles.


5. Do you use ventrilo and a headset/mic while playing?

I have a headset and my speaking is good enough, though I'm not a native speaker and I'm rather shy so I only tend to use vent when I'm really asked (forced) to. It depends on wether people can keep hearing me speak without laughing (it already happened).


6. How did you hear a bout SCAR? Please include names if possible.

A fellow officer of mine, called Moloch Vein, left our guild (We Used to [Care]) and joined this one. I talked to him and he then recommended it to me.


7. What do you want to get out of SCAR? And what can you bring to SCAR?

I was told you guys do alot of PvE elite stuff. That's really important to me. I normally have no one to play with so I end up doing things H/H or with fail pugs.


8. What other guilds have you been with? Please include length of time with the guild(s)s and reason(s) for leaving.

The first good guild I've been in was called Order of [Thay], whose leader was Moloch Vein. We then formed a new guild called We Used to [Care], whose leader is currently Jim Riven. I've been here for a long time as an officer, and I can say that guild lacks some important stuff. One of my fellow officers Moloch Vein left. He told me about this guild and I decided to make my application.


9. Tell me a little about yourself including other hobbies or just share a GW's story.

I like to play football (soccer), tennis, ping pong, poker (not at the casino lol), cycling, hanging out with my friends and a whole lot of other stuff. I also love Guild Wars and basically everything that is computer related.


10. What elite mission(HM dungeons,FoW/UW/URgoz/DoA) experience do you have and what roles have you played in these missions?

HM dungeons: I do CoF 600/Smite with my monk. I also do most of them with my necro though not with speed clearing builds, just for the books.

FoW: I cleared it once, never got back there again yet.

UW: I do SS/55, SS/SF, UWSC (most of the jobs - plains, vale necro/sin, pools, pits, wastes, etc)

Urgoz: Never tried.

DoA: Never tried. I got the necro cryer build though.

I would like to say something here. As you might have noticed I don't do some of these elite stuff. Not that I don't want to but simply because my previous guilds never did it (like DoA). I am a really fast learner though, so I believe explaining things to me once will be more than enough for me to do it almost perfectly. I just need a chance.


11.How Old are you and where are your from and what time do you usually play? Also, please include the time zone in which you live.

I'm 18 years old and I live in Portugal (GMT +0). I like to play during the afternoon and evening, 3~4 hours a day. When I'm on holidays I tend to play more.


12. What are you going to do for SCAR and why you deserve a team spot.

I think I will be a good addition to this guild as I love playing with other experienced people and I think I'll make a good team member. I like to have fun while taking the most out of Guild Wars.

Little experience in some elite areas like DoA. You also do UWSC and I know how to play all the roles.


But owell, probably you are right... at least I tried. I would like to see more feedback though...

Character development needs some work indeed. Only character with access to all outposts is your necromancer, which we barely use for our runs. Sin is useable but needs some work still, mostly used for UW? and only rank 2 in EotN rep titles. Monk seems very limited and you have neither a mesmer or an elementalist.
From what I gather you'd be pretty much limited to UWSC which is far from everything we do.

The hours isn't an issue to me, as long as you're active now that's not a big issue imo. But for now I'll have to deny this application due to lack of characters and experience in elite areas.

However, if you still want to join SCAR I'd suggest you worked on some other characters apart from necromancer. If you have a monk/ mesmer/ele/sin (preferably more than one of these) with all EotN towns and Nightfall completed you will be able to join in on all of our runs. And by then you're more than welcome to apply again.
