IGN: Moloch Vein

1. What is your total time played in GW. How old is your account? And which campaigns do you own?

My account is 26 months old. I have played for 7500 hours. I own all campaigns.

2. What characters do you have and which campaigns did they complete?

My main character is Moloch Vein, necromancer. Obviously completed everything. I have assassin, elementalist, paragon, warrior, mesmer, monk, all in various stages of "completion" (which means, I get them to where they need to be, but they might not have so good ranks in PvE skills or own all.)

3. What pve skills does you main toons have and what rank?

Every PvE skill on N, R9-10 on all title tracks. Going to max Asura and Norn shortly; I'm not much of a title farmer.

4. How many titles do you currently have and which one makes you the most proud? Also, what titles are you working on?

The only title I really care about is my Legendary Guardian. I haven't had the time and patience to work out a Leg Vanq. I have 12 maxed titles on my necromancer. I could add a few more pretty easily.

5. Do you use ventrilo and a headset/mic while playing?

No, almost never nowadays, but I do have a headset and I do know how to operate ventrilo. I'm not in a guild that uses it much; I've used it pretty much in the past.

6. How did you hear a bout SCAR? Please include names if possible.

I heard about it from Boogerboy, also saw some thread on Guru that looked like you were pretty versatile when it comes to high-level pvE.

7. What do you want to get out of SCAR? And what can you bring to SCAR?

I wish a guild and an alliance that is active and can easily staff people for full runs of Deep, Urgoz, DoA, dungeons, etc.

8. What other guilds have you been with? Please include length of time with the guild(s)s and reason(s) for leaving.

Devilicious Fun Club was first, this disbanded due to internal arguments. Pride of the Forgotten was second, this disbanded due to leader inactivity. Order of Thay was third, I lead this guild and it is currently inactive due to problem recruiting good PvE folks. I am currently in We Used To Care as officer, which is a fairly small guild/alliance with a level of competence when it comes to most players that is too low for me to do much.

DFC was I guess 5 months, PotF bit less than a year, Thay bit less than a year.

9. Tell me a little about yourself including other hobbies or just share a GW's story.

I've been into computer games forever. I've played most RPGs from the last fifteen years. I was also a world-class (rank 1) Internet competitive Tetris player, leading a clan for elite puzzle game players. I work as a programmer at a small company in industrial electronics.

10. What elite mission(HM dungeons,FoW/UW/URgoz/DoA) experience do you have and what roles have you played in these missions?

Every HM dungeon and every elite area in the game as N, whatever role the meta has called for.

I can do UWSC as N/Rt, Vale and Chamber, but I sometimes have ping problems so I prefer going as support.

I can obviously do Ray in FoWSC or UA; who cannot? I can tank as well as most but I'd need a bit teaching to do T1/T2/MT.

I have done Deep on N, A, W, E, Mo, P. This is my favorite area, I've done many runs there. Lack of people and sadness that I cannot assemble a good Deep team is a main reason for me wanting to switch guilds.

11.How Old are you and where are your from and what time do you usually play? Also, please include the time zone in which you live.

I'm 35 years old. I normally play evenings after 6PM GMT. I live in GMT+1 (Sweden.)

12. What are you going to do for SCAR and why you desrve a team spot.

I am an excellent team builder and coordinator for PvE, quite adept at writing guides and explaining basic and advanced game theory. I can usually improve most builds if needed and requested, and I love brainstorming ideas with people. I am genuinely into the workings of the game; not just playing it as a farm and to "kill stuff". I think you'll also be hard pressed to find many better PvE hexers than me.

This is an excellent application and one that is deserving of a spot in SCAR. I will easily approve this one with a good vent interview and a tryout. PM myself in game for a chat or one of my officers.

It is a great application. Sac what do you think we need to know more about? Outside the various areas of completion I see no problem with this application. Plus it takes no time to get thru NF or EoTN.

a little more info about what places and ranks etc you have on sin, monk, mes and ele perhaps, since these are the classes we use mostly.

and I'll have to agree with that the rest looks good.

I would have to agree with Sac here, not alot of info on the classes we use the most- monk, ele, sin, and mes--- where are they as far as campaigns go, where are the pve skills and ranks on them etc...

same as sac and john. whats "various stages of completion" every other app gets questioned up and down about classes ranks and exp. and 7500 hours over less then 2 years.... another afk farmer? we have icy for that

Anyways, looks like a fairly good player, maybe lacking areas on some characters, but that doesn't take more than a few days, especially considering your playtime

To Papadia: No, I don't generally have bad ping problems, however, if you do f.ex. UWSC on your sin it really only takes one bad lag spike to ruin the run for everyone.

This week has been bad for me due to technical ISP issues; these haven't been common earlier and if they will remain I will switch my ISP.

I guess I need to explain a bit further:

I didn't mention PvE skill ranks on anything but my N because they are low on everything but my N.

My N is the only character I consider "fully developed" who has done absolutely every area in the game and have all relevant unlocks at highest or near-highest level.

My Luxon rank is r8.

My assassin is fairly well developed. All my characters are obviously level 20 ascended with the elite skills I prefer for them. I have only run my N all way through eoTn. This is mainly due to the fact that I have had little reason to complete everything on every character. If you do need me to, f.ex., "complete objective A to get skill B at level C on character D and get it to area E to do thing F", I'll obviously fix that.

But if you are only interested in recruits with multiple full-fledged characters, I am not your ideal prospect. Thought I'd make that clear.

By the way Icy, how do you make those spiffy character images you have in your sig? If it's easy I could make one.

Oh, if your right click and hit properties you can see the URL link, but it's pretty much just a fansite where you can make an account and input exp/hours/balth/titles/alignment/sex/profession etc.... and you can generate a semi-customizable template
